Technical difficulty: It is necessary to measure the drilling depth to design different sizes to save drilling time and increase installation speed.
Technical solution: Three different sizes were designed. At 1,200 meters, the 16-inch rope is set at a depth of 1,120 meters, while the 13 3/8-inch rope is set at a depth of 3,495 meters. To speed up operations and save time on the rig, the 13 3/8” pipe is mounted in brackets (double), increasing installation speed.
