CASING
Casing is a large-diameter pipe that serves as the structural retainer for the walls of oil and gas wells, or well bore.
SA334 is an American standard seamless steel pipe material.
SA-334 is a standard developed by the American Standards Institute ASTM. The SA-334 standard mainly includes SA-334
Gr.1, SA-334 Gr.6, SA-334 Gr.3, SA-334 Gr.11 and other models are carbon steel, molybdenum steel and chromium molybdenum steel cryogenic pipe standards. They have good low temperature resistance and are suitable for For transporting high-pressure and low-temperature fluids. And its chemical composition and mechanical properties are similar to domestic 12Cr1MoV steel pipes. Therefore, it can be used interchangeably with 12Cr1MoV seamless steel pipes in some applications.
The chemical composition of the A334 Grade 1 line pipes include carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus and sulfur. The other grades such as grade 3 and grade 6 have nickel in the composition as well. The ASME SA 334 Grade 1 Carbon Steel Tubes are therefore suitable for low temperature applications.
