GNEE Group has successfully completed the shipment of 150 Tons of ASTM A335 Grade P11 Alloy Seamless Pipes to a major petrochemical refinery project in Kuwait.

Why P11?

ASTM A335 P11 is a preferred choice for the Kuwaiti oil and gas sector due to its excellent performance in high-temperature, high-pressure environments. The shipped batch meets the following technical parameters:

• Chemical Composition: Chromium (Cr) 1.00%–1.50% and Molybdenum (Mo) 0.44%–0.65% for enhanced creep strength and corrosion resistance.

• Size： 168.3mm * 5.9mm * 3300mm

• Heat Treatment: Full Normalizing and Tempering to ensure optimal mechanical properties.

Quality Assurance & Inspection Data

Before dispatching to Kuwait, the pipes underwent rigorous testing in our CNAS-certified lab to ensure 100% compliance with ASME SA335 standards:

• Hydrostatic Test: Every pipe was tested at pressures up to 8.6 MPa without leakage.

• Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): 100% Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) to verify weld-free integrity.

• Mechanical Verification: Yield Strength ≥ 205 MPa; Tensile Strength ≥ 415 MPa.

• Third-Party Inspection: Fully verified by SGS per the client’s request, including MTC (EN 10204 3.1) documentation.

Optimized Packaging for Kuwaiti Transit

To withstand the maritime transit to Shuwaikh Port, all pipes were treated with:

• Anti-Corrosion Coating: External black vanish and internal light oiling.
• Protection: Beveled ends with heavy-duty plastic protectors.
• Bundle Packing: Securely fastened with steel belts and seaworthy wooden crates for small-diameter tubes.
