The main components of 630 martensitic stainless steel pipe are iron (Fe), chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni) and copper (Cu), with a specific proportion of carbon (C) and manganese (Mn). It produces a martensite structure after quenching and a precipitation-strengthened austenite and secondary cementite structure after tempering, thus having excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.
630 stainless steel pipe is precipitation, hardened, martensitic stainless steel. 630 steel pipe is a precipitated, hardened, martensitic stainless steel composed of copper, niobium/columbium. This grade offers high strength, hardness (up to 300º C/572º F) and resistance to corrosion. After heat treatment, the mechanical properties of the product are more perfect and can reach a compressive strength of up to 1100-1300 mpa (160-190 ksi). This grade cannot be used at temperatures above 300ºC (572º F) or at very low temperatures. It has good corrosion resistance to both the atmosphere and dilute acids or salts. Its corrosion resistance is the same as 304 and 430.
